We (parents) added to their insight concepts of alcoholism and treatment thereof, of child safety and parenting. ![]() They were torn between pitying and blaming the mother. Both during the game, but especially at the end. Taking part in the discussions between the kids of what it all meant was delightful. (Review is not based on the remake with enhanced graphics, but on the PS4 version.) The game include mature topics kids should know about and reflect on, and this gives parents an opportunity to add to their reflection some important concepts of the social reality some children live in. It's a game for kids, and 12+ rating is beyond me. An evening to complete should do for adults, who won't find this scary at all, or hardly scary, although you will appreciate the novelty and artistic work of it, so it’s worth the time and money by any means. Safe to say, it was not effective gaming, but they enjoyed every bit of it and had an awesome experience. Then they completed it again within a single weekend. Together with his 7-year-old friend they played occasionally on weekends, and completed it within a year. It immediately became a favorite game of him often preferred over Minecraft and other gaming blockbusters. It is easy to navigate, so I let my 5-year-old play this. And nobody else is there! You are alone! Or not? You soon realize that something is wrong, and you go search for your mother along with a supportive Teddy bear that kind of emits light so that the darker areas are easier to see. Playing as a 2-year-old toddler, you roam a house and a fantasy world of memories, toys, and kid’s drawings. ![]()
